This extension applies to ODL (Offline/Distance Learning) students, Online Programme learners, as well as students enrolled under the GOAL and EVBB initiatives. As per the latest notification issued by IGNOU’s Student Evaluation Division (SED) dated 2nd November 2025, the new last date for assignment submission is 30th November 2025. Students can now submit their assignments both in hard copy and soft copy (depending on their study centre’s instructions). This decision has come as a major relief for students who were struggling with assignment preparation due to academic workload, late admission confirmations, or delays in receiving study materials.
